yesterday was the end of Pol-ite!

woah man, i tell you, i wasnt this motivated when i watched the National Canoe Championships.

but yesterday i saw the way my seniors paddled. EVERY senior won a medal. man i was freaking happy for them. i couldnt do much due to the injury and all. but coach said everyone here still helped in someway or another - we could see that he almost teared lol. our big monster coach on the verge of tears. haha!

we started off with super high team morale, halfway after the break it dropped drastically. accidents like capsizing occured. seeing my a few of my seniors crying, the feeling was super sad.

this post is dedicated to my graduating 3rd year seniors!

like Bob, my current captain's captain. He stayed with the team and trained hard, never once complaining. when he teared because he capsized just before the finishing line.

Bob! well done Bob! you're a senior i have bursting respect for! thank you for everything!

Han ting! you monster! you grabbed Gold and Silver Medals so easily! haha! you've always been my role model since the day i started training. but sometimes you so gay lor! haha! in the toilet.. LOL. shan't go into the details lol!

and as for qifang and lala! you two rocked the house! qifang you had an appendix op. but you still bagged the medals!

lala you felt faint during the 1000m race, but you still came in second. omg? 500m needless to say you owned it! and thanks alot for stepping on my foot hor? repeatedly somemore. haha!

thank you seniors! i'm motivated to train twice as hard once my thumb makes a full recovery. i want the medal next year.

it's time for the next wave of juniors to own!

JUNIORS! GOOD JOB AND EFFORT TOO! (: its alright if you didnt win anything. NEXT year! rmb the wise words coach said. if we can't win it this year. then we'll just have to win it next year! so cheer up guys okay?

we have to remember what coach said - no use crying over spilled milk.

girls won the championship cup this year. guys lost by a few points. a loss is a loss, nothing can change that fact now. next year! we'll win it next year!

but overall RP was still the champion. haha! this isnt good enough. we're still hungry for both cups! im inspired by them, by the paddlers. TRAIN AARON TRAIN AARON!

the best part about yesterday was definitely the truck ride back to lower seletar reservoir. haha! dumb things we did as a team on the truck! LOL. we waved like PAP according to alzee. we sang the obscene version of jingle bells - thanks to me.

and we were disturbing passerbys and people on the buses! LOLOLOL! super paiseh when we waved at a bus and the truck just happened to stop beside it after awhile. LOL. everyone ducked for cover! HAHA! this was fishy and melvin's idea! haha!

AND FISHY DID SOMETHING SUPER KUKU-ISH! lol! when my parents called me. she made the super erotic voice and my dad actually asked me - who is that?

me: er.. my senior.
dad: oh. okay. have fun.
me: uh. okay.
fishy: UNCLE NI JI MO MAH? - means 'uncle are you feeling lonely?'
fishy: HAO DA TIAO AH! - what a big dick you have.
dad: okay bye bye.

LOL.

gosh gosh. and fishy was having so much fun doing that, that it made some of the teammates do it when my mom called after that. LOL

went to bathe and yishun sports complex and headed to northpoint for KFC with beverly, fishy, joanne, adeline, xiao jun, litong and tomi. kinda fun, hearing all the seniors saying their past experiences!

we'll brace for the oncoming waves! NEVER BACKING DOWN!
