yesterday was the end of Pol-ite!

woah man, i tell you, i wasnt this motivated when i watched the National Canoe Championships.

but yesterday i saw the way my seniors paddled. EVERY senior won a medal. man i was freaking happy for them. i couldnt do much due to the injury and all. but coach said everyone here still helped in someway or another - we could see that he almost teared lol. our big monster coach on the verge of tears. haha!

we started off with super high team morale, halfway after the break it dropped drastically. accidents like capsizing occured. seeing my a few of my seniors crying, the feeling was super sad.

this post is dedicated to my graduating 3rd year seniors!

like Bob, my current captain's captain. He stayed with the team and trained hard, never once complaining. when he teared because he capsized just before the finishing line.

Bob! well done Bob! you're a senior i have bursting respect for! thank you for everything!

Han ting! you monster! you grabbed Gold and Silver Medals so easily! haha! you've always been my role model since the day i started training. but sometimes you so gay lor! haha! in the toilet.. LOL. shan't go into the details lol!

and as for qifang and lala! you two rocked the house! qifang you had an appendix op. but you still bagged the medals!

lala you felt faint during the 1000m race, but you still came in second. omg? 500m needless to say you owned it! and thanks alot for stepping on my foot hor? repeatedly somemore. haha!

thank you seniors! i'm motivated to train twice as hard once my thumb makes a full recovery. i want the medal next year.

it's time for the next wave of juniors to own!

JUNIORS! GOOD JOB AND EFFORT TOO! (: its alright if you didnt win anything. NEXT year! rmb the wise words coach said. if we can't win it this year. then we'll just have to win it next year! so cheer up guys okay?

we have to remember what coach said - no use crying over spilled milk.

girls won the championship cup this year. guys lost by a few points. a loss is a loss, nothing can change that fact now. next year! we'll win it next year!

but overall RP was still the champion. haha! this isnt good enough. we're still hungry for both cups! im inspired by them, by the paddlers. TRAIN AARON TRAIN AARON!

the best part about yesterday was definitely the truck ride back to lower seletar reservoir. haha! dumb things we did as a team on the truck! LOL. we waved like PAP according to alzee. we sang the obscene version of jingle bells - thanks to me.

and we were disturbing passerbys and people on the buses! LOLOLOL! super paiseh when we waved at a bus and the truck just happened to stop beside it after awhile. LOL. everyone ducked for cover! HAHA! this was fishy and melvin's idea! haha!

AND FISHY DID SOMETHING SUPER KUKU-ISH! lol! when my parents called me. she made the super erotic voice and my dad actually asked me - who is that?

me: er.. my senior.
dad: oh. okay. have fun.
me: uh. okay.
fishy: UNCLE NI JI MO MAH? - means 'uncle are you feeling lonely?'
fishy: HAO DA TIAO AH! - what a big dick you have.

gosh gosh. and fishy was having so much fun doing that, that it made some of the teammates do it when my mom called after that. LOL

went to bathe and yishun sports complex and headed to northpoint for KFC with beverly, fishy, joanne, adeline, xiao jun, litong and tomi. kinda fun, hearing all the seniors saying their past experiences!

we'll brace for the oncoming waves! NEVER BACKING DOWN!

man! today was the offical day i joined back for training ever since i fractured my left thumb almost 2 months ago. i've been out of training ever since then.

and after the doctor removed my cast about 1 month ago - i went running, 2km lah cos i was afraid that my performance would drop.

seeing everyone today, they seemed so fit. so in shape. and im the who gained weight and became like the burden.

but hey! i told myself! i'm not gonna be the burden THIS time anymore! my motivation level was UP and soaring! went for the non stop 35 mins plus run. i told myself, run Aaron! just run! bigger steps, regulate breathing! no negative thoughts! increase pace and no dropping of my pace!

i'm super happy can? for once, running was fun! haha! at least i didnt drag the team down during the run! :DD

im gonna keep continuing this pace, i needa catch up to my teammates! this period of time is crucial, VERY crucial in fact! Pol-ite is just 12 days away!

TEAM RP! you guys rule! we're definitely gonna kick some ass in pol-ite! (:

went to the doctor - basket stupid doctor scolded me! FTW! LOL. she looked at me when i entered the room and she said: 'you went for canoe training didnt you?'

LOLOL. my face so predictable meh! HAHAHA!

anyways my thumb is healing well - i think. but guess it still needs time to heal. 2 months at the least!

lol. it was a super suay day i tell you. 5 of us were caught on camera for playing soccer in the corridors. lol.

wth seriously haha! but luckily we were given a verbal warning. im happy for us. but im thinking if lincoln (the HEAD DM) hears about me again, im much pretty much dead. since i was reported for fighting in sem 1 ._.

ahh! supposed to be a sports day for W45M! weather wasnt on our side AT all! the moment we set foot in the outdoor courts - it started pouring. WTF! headed for the indoor courts - had only like 45 mins to play cos there was a competition coming up. FTW!

had our fun with the ball. grace got hit in the face. hopefully she's alright. kai jie too.

i could've thought more simply if she complicate my thinking - anyways kai jie and i managed to combined our methods and solve - ended up it STILL looks like simultaneous equations to me LOL

and grace unexpectedly, grats to her man, she super zai LOL. she managed to get the prices of the food using the equations to get whole numbers, whereas other teams had decimal points. hmm..

was supposed to be meeting up with her after that, but she msged me earlier in the day, saying that she couldnt make it. super sad, i wanted to give her something - just to cheer her up. she's been kinda down, pretty obvious, since her replies are quite monotonous ):

i mean thats COMPLETE hogwash. what in the world? anyways, headed to subway after service, ate a foot long sandwich.

gosh it was good. i really take my hat off to him. i nv really imagined a person like him would make such a deep impression on me. he was such a motivation.

when he fell down on the stage and he got back up. i was wondering how he was gonna get back up, but well HE did!

nick vujicic asked those who wanted to know who they are and accept Him into their life to stand up, because of all the loneliness they're feeling. i felt all these painful things. but im not ready and i still have my reservations about things.

but well. thats that.

i hope the rest of the semester would go by more quickly. i can't stand it much longer. time is passing so much more slowly than it first started. i guess during the first few weeks we had so much fun. but fading is inevitable.

hmm returned from china on saturday late afternoon. enjoyed the trip though. saw how the 3rd world countries are like once again. it brings back the memories of south africa. farmers and little children who had to worry about filling their stomachs everyday. it was a sad sight. nonetheless the relatives were happy to see us and treated us with the utmost hospitality! and FYI peeps i went to hainan island - not expensive places like beijing or harbin. lol

but i couldnt attend combined service ): sadded.

that very night went out with C² - Chaotic Cruisers buddies. watched max payne at cineleisure. not bad a movie but effects became kinda fakish during the end. and the ending SUCKED! they booked the 2.20am show. FTW! LOL. went to have subway and ate there. went for lan. and slacked around before the show started.
